New Video Gallery

Team Splash has been hard at work this past few months. So hard at work, we have left everyone out of the loop of what has been happening. Team Splash has produced four new products.

The main project that we have been working on is called, "The P.A.C." It is short for the Princess is in Another Castle. It is a podcast the was developed for the people over at GameDibs.com. We did not work on it alone, no we had some help from our friends at FanBoyRemix.com. We produced a short promo and two fill length episodes which can be seen here. If you are a gamer, we then you will enjoy The P.A.C.

Team Splash has also completed two new short films, "Gathering" & "Team Zed."

Memorial Day-after

So it is the day after Memorial and besides being extremely spent and dehydrated, I am very excited. This Friday is the 48 Film Project. We are given 48 hours to complete a 4 minute film. Everything must be Scripted, Filmed, and Edited within the allotted time.
Here is what our weekend is going to look like.

Kickoff

Date: Friday, May 29th
Time: 6-7pm
Place: The Village Pourhouse, 64 Third Avenue at 11th Street, NYC 10003

This is where we meet up with the management team behind the 48 hour film project. They will give us our 'surprise elements' such as, genre, line of dialogue, prop, or character.

From there we take the next hour or 2 to drive back to L.I. and write our story.
Once the story is written we then film all through the night.
We are used to 24 hour film festivals in which case we have to stay up all night anyways.
Then comes the FUN part. RJ has to edit the film while I write the music. I have seen RJ edit for 24 hours straight, it isn't pretty.
If all that goes good then comes the:

Dropoff

Date: Sunday, May 31st
Time: 6:30-9:30pm (by 7:30pm to be on time!)
Place: The Village Pourhouse, 64 Third Avenue at 11th Street, NYC 10003

The cool thing about this competition is that it is much earlier then the usual ones. Generally we are waiting till 9 or 10 to get our info. which means we can't start filming till 11 or 12.
Plus the delivery time is setup differently. Generally if you make it after a certain time its late and not eligible for screening or prizes. At this competition you have a window of time to get it in on time, and a window of time where its late.

If you are interested in coming to the screening here is the info that we have thus far.

Premiere Screenings

Date: June 5-6, 2009
Time: 6:15pm, 8:30pm
Place: NYU's Cantor Film Center

In march we participated in the NYC Film Race. We had 24 hours to put together a short film (less than 4 min) and we succeeded, but not only succeeded but we made it into the top 19!! Thats even better then making it to the top 20... Its 1 better in fact. So now the voting has begun. Visit http://www.filmracing.com/Films/competitions/nyc2009.htm watch the competition's films and vote of the one you like the best. You can only vote one time so make it a good one. According to FilmRacing.com you have until May 11th at 11:59! They mean business, even just 1 min later and you just throw your vote into the garbage!

O.K. I'm getting to that. We finished the rough draft of our script in March. We are revising it and making sure it is up to snuff before we send it to a select few to read it over. Casting will begin in early June!
